# Bracen brand and design system

> Bracen is an independent building decision platform for homeowners. Promise: confidence before commitment. This site is the hosted brand and design system, published verbatim from the kit in the Bracen repository (docs/design-system, version 1.1, locked 4 September 2026). Read it before producing any page, component, image, post, document or copy for Bracen.

## How to use this

- Read /llms-full.txt first. It is every canonical kit file in authority order, in one fetch.
- Use /tokens.json or /tokens.css for exact colour and radius values. They are generated from the production theme, not transcribed.
- The human-readable guide at / renders the same rules with live specimens. It is a transcription; where it and the kit differ, the kit wins.
- Locked rules: text-only Bracen wordmark, IBM Plex Sans only, blue as the sole action colour, sand as scarce emphasis, green as functional status only, radii at or under 8px, no border plus shadow on one component, ruled rows over card grids, no hype, emoji or em dashes, every claim dated and bounded.
